I just uploaded my code that restricts new members. People who have an account less than a week old may now only start one new thread during each 24 hour period. Once the week is past, the restriction is lifted on their account.
Spam will be harder to notice now since they can only post one spam per account. Please by vigilant to click the report icon for any spams you see.
It's possible that they will move on to post their spams as replies to existing threads. If they do that, I will extend the restriction to include replies.
It's also possible that they will figure out to signup and then wait a while before the restriction is lifted. If they do that, then I will further update the code to include a daily limit until a certain number of successful un-flagged posts are made under their account.
