I am hoping for lots and lots of tomatoes this year. Last year I found I didn't have nearly enough. But twice as many plants this year although I do have 7 grape tomatoes and one cherry. Those would be for snacking.

The entire neighborhood comes for salad?

The rain & dreary weather has held up bloom on some of the dwarf irises. they are usually reliable, but not this yr. Judges training tomorrow & they are hoping still to have flowers open.

Honestly, I had neighbors last year that were annoyed with me because they only got afew tomatoes. I just didn't have the numbers that I usually do haveing planted so few last year. I had to up it again this year so that I keep myself and my friends happy.

My thought last year was I would have plenty for myself but didn't need to grow them for givaways. THAT did not work out so well.

Will be moving the garden to Zone 7a in the Fall.

Fall is a good time to move a garden, Janice. Lots of extra work and planning, but worth it, I think.
