Fabulous, Rita!! Beauties all!

very pretty clematis. they are not always easy to grow.

Clematis here are pretty much plant them and forget them. Well, except maybe for spring prunning.

Merlin daffodils still blooming today.

Walk along the southside rose garden with me. Of course the roses are not blooming yet but the shrubs in the mixed shrub border across are in full bloom.

Now we are further along and will be turning to the front yard.












And finially we end up looking at the front yard pond.

Upstairs in the back yard (literally upstairs) looking along another path.







Now if we go to the very end of the property were there is a shady woodsey area that I am still working to finish.



And looking forward from the previous view back toward the sunny mid yard.


The mid yard. it has daylilies, bearded iris, dutch iris, tulips, daffodils, different lilies and some perrenials.

Do you know the name of the blue Siberian Iris? It is a stunning color!

Thanks! That is CHINA SPRING. It is my very earliest Siberian. Starts blooming before any of the others even have buds yet here.

I went out early this morning to take picture of my iris in bloom. A good thing I got these shots as we had a downpour a couple of hours ago.




This one is finished blooming. Hope I haven't already sent it.


I had a yelllow iris but the rains destroyed the blooms..The wind and rain
here is hard on iris plants. By the way do any of you know how to keep
the foliage looking good.

I love your Baptisia as well.

I have a teeny-tiny seedling from last year - it just got planted out a couple of weeks ago.

The Baptisia is "Wild Indigo" I started out with 3 in 2005 and last year eliminated 2 ot them. Last year they didn't have many blooms but this one is looking good this year. Chelle I have my eyes on seedling that is looking good and plan to move it soon. I usually pull lots of seedlings in spring.

The yellow iris was a gift from a friend here on ATP. This is her first bloom.


The rose and clematis arbor finally has blooms up high! A bit thin yet, but it's a start.

pretty pics,Chelle...Love the yellow and white iris and I am intrigued with your arbor. The rose blooms are nice and healthy looking..I pruned my roses hard and then we had a hardfreeze after the warm weather in March..Not many blooms yet.:confused:

Veronica, the arbor was designed to curve around the path. It's one of the coolest things we've made, I think. I still have at least one upright left for morning glories, too.

We have a brand-new bridge, just completed this weekend. I'm waiting to take pictures, however, until after the old one is moved outta there!

Chelle,I really like that arbor,very interesting piece. I brought home a new piece,I`ll have to get a photo of it,I`m not sure what it was meant to be ....ummm other than to be in my garden.. Its up in the garage too...chelle understands what I mean by up in the garage..

My white Iris


cherry tree stump,really big stump....I love it..I have 3 huge climatis and lots of other plants around it,There is a robins nest nestled in the climatis I think 4 babies,took a quick peek,naked babies.. Ive been seeing fledglings everywhere out here...how did those egggs make it through those cold days we had ??? WOW
