I planted four more that I got from Oakhill. Peacock Prism, Satan's Passion, Widow's walk, and Gladys Biestek (not reg) also got a nice bonus plant Jerry Hyatt. Excited for next season to see all the new blooms! Think that is 15 new ones this year (late summer, fall). lol I was done also (what is the spell that daylilies have on some) I am even thinking of doing a little hybridizing (just for my own pleasure) I need the extra work like a hole in my head!!)

Yep, I've been buying for spring again! Hilarious! A few from the Lily Auction:

Thumb of 2018-10-08/Betja/14a8db Thumb of 2018-10-08/Betja/b37360

Edit: I just checked, and SKY'S THE LIMIT, one of the 2018 introductions from Le Petit Jardin, is not correctly registered. The SKY'S THE LIMIT showing in the AHS Database was registered in 2006 by Robinson-B and is a completely different daylily. Hmmm.... I would think Mr. Goff would have corrected that by now...

I can see that happening in the old days when a person had to go through several different volumes of printed registration records in order to see if a name was available, but with the AHS database online, it really makes me wonder.

Gorgeous Betty Lovey dubby I am curious how your transaction goes with the LA seller on this one. I had trouble with communication when I ordered from him last year but the plants were good, and there have been some mixed reviews on Facebook Daylily Buying: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Ken - I actually just hid the marker behind the plant and turned it around so you couldn't read it Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Since it was in the middle of one garden toward the top of the hill no one noticed or asked. However, a few really good friends got the full name just for fun anyway Whistling Whistling Hilarious! Hilarious!

Karol emailed me with it also -- gorgeous new introductions! But I may not order again this year, although I was totally pleased with my order, because I'm trying to cut back on new orders (seriously! Hilarious! ) I guess we'll see if my will power holds out because I know I'll want to get another couple of new intros when the Pierces at Floyd Cove post the rest of their Spring 2019 intros...

Ginny, overall I was quite happy with my order (received in two parts) from Yenok at La_daylily and in the end decided I would order again from him (her?). The plants were quite good, but I agree there is a weakness in communication skills. Yenok asked if I could hold out for a few more weeks on part of my order, and since I knew there would be no bloom during those summer months I agreed -- and in the end I got beautiful fans. The only problem I really had was that in each batch I received there was at least one plant that had no label of any kind, so I had to get back to Yenok to find out what it was. Yenok sent great gift plants, although one labeled BLUE RACER turned out to be a beautiful white that I wouldn't give up for anything. I believe Yenok might have a language and spelling problem (for instance, SKY'S THE LIMIT is listed as "SHY'S THE LIMIT"), but the plants are great. Here is the white that is definitely not BLUE RACER, but I really love it.

Those are both really beautiful, Ginny, and have you gone ahead and ordered them yet? PRAY WITHOUT CEASING is absolutely gorgeous, but it's a dormant and I've learned the hard way to avoid those. The two I would love to get are WRITTEN IN STONE and PEACE OFFERING, both SEV's, and I have to admit that the ones I got from her last year (FINAL CONFLICT, UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER and ALL THINGS TO ALL MEN) have done quite well here. But I'm still thinking about it... nodding

Oh yes -- and how could I forget Karol's SWORD OF JUSTICE, my favorite last year... Absolutely love that one!

Betty all of mine go dormant in winter since we have freezing temps. Dormants do better for me than evergreens. Those are two I looked at too but had to stop somewhere Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing It was the picture combined with her description on Pray Without Ceasing that grabbed me and wouldn't let go Whistling Whistling Whistling I love Sword of Justice too, the pattern to me just looks like a sword. I added All Things To All Men last year, along with others of hers that I purchased elsewhere and they seem to love my garden *Blush* Soli deo Gloria and Via Dolorosa are still blooming on reblooms and I've only had Via D since last summer and added Soli DG this summer Hurray! Hurray!

Ginny, I've loved all your pictures of Soli deo Gloria and have been thinking about that one too. But dark daylilies don't do well here unless they're early bloomers -- they burn when it starts heating up, which unfortunately seems to happen earlier each year now... Sighing!

@Jillz
I love Quoting Hemmingway, but it is just not in the budget right now!
