Time for the new monthly thread -

I have a couple of odds and ends blooming here. Blc George King 'Serendipity' opened the first spike of the season.

The Mexipedium xerophyticum has truly found its voice ( after sitting there for 6 years!) and doesn't shut up anymore. I am not complaining!

Grrrr! Grumbling I bought Blc George King 'Serendipity' on ebay without checking the size, so I have a tiny little baby of this beauty. Lovey dubby Actually it's 'Southern Cross.' In any case, I won't see flowers till I'm 80!! Hilarious!

Kathy, you WILL see it blooming in your lifetime.

The Ornithophora radicans opened some more along the slower to open spikes. It looked so pretty last night, I had to take another shot under artificial light.

Cerato rubra has right now about 5 or 6 blooms, that's what it has been doing the last few weeks since I brought it inside. Not a big show, but enough to make me happy.

I had to repot my Onc Mendenhall 'Hildos' and I was worried it would sulk. Happily it hasn't skipped a beat and keeps on blooming.

I had bought the next one many years ago as Cattleya mossiae 'Campo Grande'. But mossiae flowers in the Spring and the experts on OSF told me it is (probably?) a labiata hybrid. ( which blooms in Fall). I love the pretty scent.

Ornithophora radicans is amazing. (Not Sigmatostalix anymore?) I only had two blooms on my Cerato rubra but I love the color and yours inspired me to get mine.

Ursula, what size pot is the C. mossiae occupying? Looks to be a large plant.
