Grrrr! I bought Blc George King 'Serendipity' on ebay without checking the size, so I have a tiny little baby of this beauty. Actually it's 'Southern Cross.' In any case, I won't see flowers till I'm 80!!
The Ornithophora radicans opened some more along the slower to open spikes. It looked so pretty last night, I had to take another shot under artificial light.
Cerato rubra has right now about 5 or 6 blooms, that's what it has been doing the last few weeks since I brought it inside. Not a big show, but enough to make me happy.
I had bought the next one many years ago as Cattleya mossiae 'Campo Grande'. But mossiae flowers in the Spring and the experts on OSF told me it is (probably?) a labiata hybrid. ( which blooms in Fall). I love the pretty scent.
Ornithophora radicans is amazing. (Not Sigmatostalix anymore?) I only had two blooms on my Cerato rubra but I love the color and yours inspired me to get mine.
