Looking great! Thumbs up

Getting into the spirit of Anticipation -
I am waiting forever on Potinara Red Heart 'Neptune' to open 3 spikes, but - we are slowly getting there. It is a month late this year.
Thumb of 2011-03-02/Ursula/6c1f39
And there are the two baskets of Lc Fire Dance 'Patricia' which are coming along.

Wonderful Ursula. What are you growing Potinara Red Heart 'Neptune' and Lc Fire Dance 'Patricia' in? When my plants get that big, the roots rot easily.

Kathy, the Pot Red Heart is still in it's small Coconut shell from a few years ago, roots are freely dangling all over the place. I will have to pop it into some basket when it is done blooming.
The Lc Fire Dance are in large wire baskets lined with coconut fiber mats and a bit of bark mix. Pics to follow.
If you think of using wire baskets, also have a strong wire clipper handy a few years from now, if you need to divide the plant. It works well.
I always look for the most lightweight potting solution, a heavy clay pot for larger Catts would bend my shelves.
Bill, good looking Haraella. Thumbs up
Have to take closer look at my Max picta.

some of my Vandas buds are yellowing an shriveling up and dying before they open, i think its from too much sun. ? The last Vanda i had that wouldnt open its buds i put in less sun and they finally opened next time round. Now its Autumn here and nearing Winter they get more sun where they are. My Chilli trees are thickening up in front of them but as it cools the chillis will loss there leaves.
Miss Joaquim just keeps going and going...Thumb of 2011-03-05/bree/16529c
