Thanks guys! No, Stacey, I'm afraid I don't have Barry Blyth's HYSTERIA. He has another seedling that is very similar -- but even better from my perspective with longer, more flowing falls -- that I've been waiting for. Sure hope he introduces it soon! I'm afraid all these guys are going to retire on us...

Our son will be house-sitting for us and hopefully will get some pictures of the new ones that have not started to bloom yet. He takes pictures differently than I do -- much more angled shots, but I'll take what I can get. But what I'm worried about is June -- we're scheduled to be gone for two weeks then, which will probably be when all those daylilies I want to cross will bloom. And somehow I can't see him pollinating for me, but who knows... he might really get into it!

A few more today:

AMOROUS HEART - Blyth

REPERTOIRE - T. Johnson, 2011

More ORANGE TOFFEE - Sutton, 2011

More COLD CREEK - Sutton, 2011

SPICE TRADER - Painter - Fantastic color!

ROUND OF APPLAUSE - Ghio

CLOTHO'S WEB - Anton Mego - Boy, do I love this one! This was the first day for this first flower, and I'm hoping it relaxes a little more by tomorrow. It is nearly black at the bottom of the falls, and the flower is very dark with those wonderful white lines.

LARK ASCENDING - Love those incredible beards and beautiful ruffled white standards and falls!

More ENGAGEMENT RING - Ghio, 2011

Nice. I can see IBs in bud, but I wonder how cold damaged the flowers will be.

Oh my gosh Betty, I just can't stand it! I don't know what to say as your blooms are just too pretty for words. And so many and so many that I think are extra stunning! Wow, wow, and wow again!

Ones I want to mention that I really took extra notice of are SPECTACLE, YAQUINA BLUE, BOLD VISION (I just had to gasp when I saw that one), STROZZAPRETI (oh my those colors!), everything you posted on the 29th (especially those first four) and HOT PROPERTY. Love your iris bed shot also. Honestly Betty, one could do an endless list of must haves just by looking at your iris pictures. And I am totally out of room!

Betty the first of my iris blooms has already opened and I posted a new thread with pictures of them. I guess as they bloom I will have to observe them closely in case I can find something to move out in order to get more. But truely I don't want to move anything out. And I have no place for any new beds. Oh well.

Ah -- Decisions, decisions! I'm always finding things to remove in order to make room for newbies. I just go by "Do I like it? Or do I LOVE it?" And I've always found that if I "like" something rather than loving it, I'll be ready to give it away by the next year anyway!

I'll have to go look for your thread. I'm running so far behind and we're leaving on Thursday for a week, so I'm way behind on all the threads except two or three in each forum that I follow all the time now. In fact, I've got to get back outside... I'm "Preening" right now but took a lunch break.

No much in the new thread Betty as Iris just, just started here. Honestly, I don't like to replace plants that much. So unless I really get tired of it, it does poorly, doesn't bloom, or I just plain hate it I am not usually liking to replace it.

Durn, There for a minute, Thought I'd passed on and was in Iris heaven. Everyone of them was gorgeous.
I hope you can point me in right direction. I have a little Iris blooming I got from Neal. Bless his heart, I can't remember his last name. But I remember the name of this little Bog iris, "Black Gamecock". I love it.

Thanks everyone! I've been trying to post mostly new ones that we might not have seen bloom before, but I'm getting ready to leave town for a week now. I'll try to still post newbies until then, but I'm always running way behind...

Charleen, I've heard of BLACK GAMECOCK but hadn't really seen it before. Isn't it beautiful! Wish I could grow the beardless...

So many beauties here it makes me want to replace some of my old ones. My zone 5 tall bearded ones are about 3 weeks ahead of last year. First to open was Ravens Quote. Darker purple than it looks here.
