I think it's about the weather. Of my two old ones, the Yellow used to bloom faithfully for Thanksgiving, and the dusty rose one for Christmas. Last year the dusty rose did bloom in Dec. but the yellow didn't bloom until Feb.! The only thing that makes sense is the micro-climates, because the two divisions of the rose one that are in different locations bloomed much later.I discovered a tiny spike starting on the yellow one this week, but no signs on any of the others. Shrug!

I got 2 in the mail today. Cym Kusuda Swamp (orange) and Lc. Loog Tone 'African Beauty', both in spike. I'd say that the cym has a second spike forming, but you never know!

My dear hubby helped me out re-pot my mini-cymbidium while I was away for 2.5 months. He was able to make 3 pots. When I returned, I did some catch up watering and fertilizing, and so far it has yielded some promising results.
2 out of 3 has some new growths coming out! The flowers of this mini- cymbidium is the one I have showing on my avatar. So I am hoping it will be a good yield come winter Big Grin
