Good growing Bree, you will have to get a Susan Booth if you want a spike and flowers that develop fast. Just a little over 3 weeks from the time it emerged from the leaf sheath to full bloom.

I'll say one thing, the opposite is true of Lynleigh Koopowitz. She took months!!! (But was well worth it, of course!)

Ken- thought i did have a susan booth but i just checked and its a Leroy booth(topperi x susan booth). Hasn't flowered yet though, has less red in it than susan. Wonder if its fast as well. I do have a Lynleigh K that has yet to flower also...oh another slow one. Smiling
