Oh, how nice of your son! Love your kitties, too. You are right, that was an awesome trade! But, credit to you both...you guys obviously know how to grow 'em!

Cutting Loose is so pretty! (Not that the others aren't...I usually have a hard time choosing one over the others...must be in a purple mood! I think I like that sort of purple, not so reddish or something.)

Jill,

I never noticed if Fringy has a glittery edge or not, I don't usually see it up that close. It is on the other side of some pots on my patio. I did notice the glittery edge on Irish Halo and a new one called Ocean Rainbow from Guy Pierce. I will check out Fringy tomorrow if it blooms.

Thanks Dot Thumbs up I need to think through some of the things I do. It's not like I haven't done this before. It just made me mad because I had worked really hard yesterday and was tired to the bone but still had some babies I wanted ya'll to see. When I messed up and deleted it all, I nearly cried, in fact I think I did.

I'll try to remember this. It's the way to do a big list. Thanks again. I think I will go back and try to load them again.

You're the best and blessings to you and all your loved ones, Mona

Yes you can edit, I went back when Leslie asked me about my garden and even changed out the pictures to current ones.

It poured rain yesterday, we sure needed it, but I have to go out when it gets light in a few minutes and check to see if some of the scapes need propping up (new ones). It also was very windy for awhile. Will post pictures later in the day when I'm done making crosses. My Fantasy Fringe will be blooming today, I got it last year too late to bloom well, it rebloomed a couple of flowers.

Dot, we're getting your rain today and some last night. We need it. It keeps me from dragging the hose for hours, The only thing, I need to spray my daylilies and it's going to have to wait until after this weekend now. It's a good time for me anyway to rain, I'll be busy with kids all weekend. So, next week will be my spraying week.

Great photos of Talladega, Fringy and Fancy Lace. I agree that Talladega is a stunning daylily, even if it is not the bright red as shown in the hybridizer's photo. Love all the great pics. Thanks.

I have been anxious to see Blue Racer. WOW! It is a real beauty. Of course, I like them all. I have all of the ones you posted except Orange Colossus, but it will be a while before mine bloom. How big is O. Colossus? Beautiful scene out your patio door. Are you at peak bloom yet?

Orange Colossus is about 7", but on a rather spindly scape for it's size. I'm assuming it will improve next year.

I didn't measure them but the blooms on Talladega have been huge as well this year.

We got about 3" of rain yesterday, it was a frog strangler for sure. Could not even see the neighbors house for awhile.

Ann, please add your pictures to my post.

All these blooms are just stunning. No matter what new form comes along my favorite it still fat and round and ruffly. All the rest is frosting.
