Yes I do! I have a mounted plant, hanging in full sun and it blooms for me in the Summer.

We moved into our house on April 19. 1971, the Dogwood was in FULL BLOOM then, already in flower for at least a week. In the seventies Forsythias bloomed in March, not April.
There are dates one doesn't forget, so I am not imagining it. The same Dogwood is now in bud, still has some time to go before open....our flowering trees around here bloom at least 10 -14 days later than they did about 20 -30 years ago. Yes, the climate is changing....for whatever reason.

And we're running about three weeks early, setting temperature records along the way. We expect this weather in mid-May, not April. All this after suffering through the coldest December on record. Last year we were pounded by the second coldest winter on record. The pattern is random. What is normal is the lack of rain during April and May. We could really use a thunder boomer about now.

I remember that on Easter in previous years, the magnolias were in bloom. They are in tight bud today. Last summer was the hottest summer I remember after living here for 40 years. We never used an air conditioner till 20 years ago and for about a week in August. I was wishing we had AC in the barn in spring and summer. We slept on a mat on a concrete floor a few nights to be able to sleep.

Re: weather this year. Here we are having a very cool Spring. In the 6 years I've been here, have never seen such a cool Spring.
Actually very pleasant and temperate.
Usually we go directly into "too hot", but not this year. Love it like this. 70-80's. But past few days 60's rainy. Tomorrow to be 88.

All beautiful! I especially like the Phrag! If I can keep my 3 Paphs alive , I will have to try one, one of these days. Of course, I am going to the Spring Garden Show Thurs., and one never knows what one will come home with. Whistling
