Tom, my Starring was just fabulous it's first year here (last year) Bloomed like crazy. I moved it last summer (and gave some away to my sister) and even though I only kept one fan, it now has buds on it.

Starring was my most favorite last year. I expect great things from it this year too.

Rita, love that Golden Panter ~Jan

Golden Panter was new and first time blooming last year so I knew what to expect this year. I really just love it, such unusual coloring. nodding

My Starring looks a bit better this year then last, It has a couple of increases and one bloom stalk coming up, but I though it was due to the mild winter. Maybe it's going to settle in and take off, I hope! It's such a beautiful bloom. The first time I planted it, it died before fall! Never had that happen before.

I lost one last year too (can't remember the name - it was a Ghio). Actually I lost three -- I liked the Iris so well that I splurged and bought three of them for a jump-start to a good sized clump. I never did that before. All three died -- that never happened before either. When I contacted the seller, he told me that if I ordered Irises this year he'd include replacement rhizomes, and suggested I join an Iris club or society to learn how to grow Irises. I was livid. In almost forty years of Iris growing, I've never lost one before. Think maybe something was wrong with those rhizomes? Yah. I won't be doing business with him again -- it was a name grower too.
Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com)

IBs are starting to bloom. A few had very short stalks because of the weather. the new stalks are correct size & bud count.

Apparently Florentine Silk is finicky for some. Not here. It does great and I think it is so pretty.
