I keep going back over your shots Tom, after my visit to Napa Iris, I do think I need that Strut Your Stuff so it's on my wish list. Love that Sharp Dressed Man too, love purples with intense orange beards.

I think Strut Your Stuff is one of the better irises by Black, I just love the color, however, I find it hard to get a picture that does it justice. Sharp dressed man was just planted last year, so I think it will be more impressive next year when it's better established, and maybe a few more stalks to make a clump.

I bet it would be stunning in a clump!
Are you adding your photos to the database Tom? Green Grin! Easy to do right here from the thread. If any entries are missing, let me know and I can create one or it's also easy to propose them yourself. Thumbs up Want to make sure we get these lovely shots in the database!

I discovered something last year when I had BLACK MAGIC WOMAN and SHARP DRESSED MAN both planted very near each other. BLACK MAGIC WOMAN bloomed earlier, and I actually like its form a little better than SHARP DRESSED MAN because the standards stay together better, but they are both very similar. And after it finished blooming, here came SHARP DRESSED MAN and it bloomed for most of the rest of the iris season. So I really recommend getting them both if you can and planting them near each other, and that way you'll have those gorgeous deep blooms for almost your entire iris season!

Fancy dress will fade a bit when it's older to be a closer match.

I probably should have let Exclusivity open up a bit more. Moonlit Waters has bloomed every other year so far. Not a rapid increaser, but it had to survive an infestation of borers last summer, so it's not it's fault!

The name shook me a moment as I was thinking of 'Gala Madrid. BB seedlings are out but no TB flowers as yet. We don't grow very many & I think that they are going to be short.

350 named give or take a few NOIDs. Don't worry, I'm not including pics of them all, and sice I moved a lot last year, there are many that are not blooming this year. Yes I know how crazy that is, Blinking Confused

Well, when it's cold and the snow is blowing, I might have time to post some of the ones I didn't do or that I have file pics of that didn't bloom this year, but right now I have got to get my vegie garden going.
