Just for fun, I thought I would take a few general pics around the lanai to show my set-up. I made this three tier plant stand for my shade lovers.

This is a view from the spa looking north along "vanda row". I'll post more later but must run to the hospital.

This is the southwest corner where the bottle palm is located.

Thanks all. I have to hang them from the rafters, not the screen, so they are 8 feet apart. I took several classes at the University of South Florida on orchids. The instructor was Jim Clarkson, the curator of orchids at the botanical gardens there. He always stressed keeping your tools clean and space between the plants to alow air movement and keep from spreading disease. I think he was right.

I need to finish up the tour. This is facing east. You can see the big Grammatophylum scriptum hanging there.

Finally loking northeast. You can see the huge epi Radicans streching from the roof to the floor.

Ursula, did you notice my earth box in the last pic? I grow tomatos in it during the winter. What a wonderful little invention!

I wish!
The greenhouse part is arriving sometime in December, that's the soonest that Arcadia , the greenhouse company, can ship it. Grumbling
But we'll have the luxury of time to get the electricity, water and flooring all set.
