It's possible he's working on the site and trying to debug it when you tried logging in.

I spent over 15 years doing commercial web sites and probably made every mistake possible. Still doing some non-profit sites that involve a lot of user interaction, registration, etc. because it's hard to say no.

This is the longest rose parade yet with no flowers!

Two problems.
-- I can't seem to upload photos here ... not without really long waits.
-- It seems that nobody can see my photos there without being logged in. And some people with Google mail accounts may not be able to join as members. I'm looking into how to make photos viewable to people not logged in.

I got a Flickr account and posted some photos to it. Then I placed the photos in the bb above. Then I logged out and I verified that the photos were visible in the bb entries.

For example (copies the share text from Flickr and pastes here):

Hmmm... that doesn't seem to show correctly in Preview here. (So the Flickr process appears to me not to work here, but it appears to work at the bb above.)

Mostly I've just posted photos of iris so far this year, but there is one photo of Desiree Parmentier.

That Clarence link took me to the Yahoo home page, where I had to sign in and then received this message:

This photo is private.

Oops! You don't have permission to view this photo.

Here's a link back to your home page.

I have a Flickr account and can see the photos just fine.

Are your photos real large? Is that why you have trouble uploading them here? I downsize mine down to about 800x600 and they upload fast. My originals are around 3888 x 2600.

I was able to see the photos just fine on the RoseFile "test" page. There was a beautiful purple iris amongst the pink ones, a Clarence iris, and a couple of others, mostly irises. However, the first picture was of a rose.. don't remember now who but very pretty.

Zuzu, I did have to adjust the privacy settings to "public." I guess that happened after your visit.

Sue, I keep forgetting that even a pocket camera like the Lumix DMC ZS7 has 12 megapixels of info to upload. And that's too much. Not sure how ATP allocates upload resources. Perhaps one large photo-upload depletes one's allotment for some number of minutes.

One of the reasons for going to the trouble of making all these changes is that I recently changed computers and the new one uses Aperture to download photos from cameras and to manage and correct photos. Aperture also has a button for uploading and resizing photos to Flickr. This streamlines workflow for photo management. But it also is a new process to learn.
