Depending on which Jasmine Sambac you are talking about the propagation could differ slightly. The one I do mostly is the Maid of Orleans. That is easy. I take nearly ripe wood cuttings in the summer after it is finished blooming or ripe wood in the autumn and plant them in a good potting soil in 3" pots and I do use hormone. Sometimes I just stick them in water and let them root, some people layer them.
