That's wonderful that it is showing some growth. You'll have to post new pics of it this summer.

I grown Roseleaf Sages before 'Hidalgo' and 'Mulberry Jam'. Hidalgo gets pretty large, so I usually grow Mulberry Jam. They're annuals (tender perennials) for me and die with the frost/freeze each year. I grew them in large containers. Lucky you to live in zone 8a.
