Sedum adolphii is the correct spelling on the plant list.

http://www.theplantlist.org/tp...

Where there is an 'X' it usually indicates a cross of that species, but the other parent isn't known for certain. Open pollination can produce surprise crosses, controlled pollination is the only way to know with certainty both pod and pollen parents.

There's lots of results with double 'i'

Google doesn't recognise the single 'i'

Source for Sedum adolphi on catalogue of life:

Source database: World Plants, Nov 2015
Bibliographic citation: Hassler M. (2016).

When I search using "species 2000 sedum adolphi" I get results.

https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_...

The Plant List reference is:

The record derives from Tropicos (data supplied on 2012-04-18) which reports it as an accepted name (record 8900082↗) with original publication details: Notizbl. Bot. Gart. Berlin-Dahlem 5: 277 1912.

A search for "sedum adolphi" on Species 2000, which is the reference for World Plants in Catalogue of Life, I get no results for either spelling but the site doesn't appear to be current.

I tried searching on itis.gov, I'm getting a message "The specified URL cannot be found. "

By going to the link provided on the Plant List "Full publication details for this name can be found in IPNI" I get a full reference.

It looks like the single 'i' wins.
