There can be such a diverse difference just in a matter of a few miles, that's what's so great about Calif. A 20 minute drive from us into the Santa Cruz mountains, they average 60"!
If you ever drive north, you need to stop by in Sebastopol, just 8 miles west of Santa Rosa, nice & quiet, population around 7,500-8000 I think. Santa Rosa is a little bit too busy for me but there are some nice places along the outer edges of the town. Of course, I grew up and live in a city with over 1,000,000 population so I think the country life will take some getting used to! I am soooo ready!
