My Razzle Dazzle did the same thing (I got mine from Palatine). First set of blooms were pastels like that, but thereafter they were much brighter. Not as blinding as, say, Charisma, but still very not pastel. Now if they were a hair bit BIGGER! Mine were about an inch across... but I think that's because it's a new rose in a new home, blah blah blah.
