B&D are licensed to carry those plants and as a nursery, they also obtain the rights to use the hybridizer photos as advertising in any way they see fit. When I email nurseries, the option is they can join ATP and upload photos themselves or I can do it for them, linking back to their site, the advertising part. Since I write "photo courtesy of...", it does not denote that they are the original photographer but that the photo was used with their permission, which is what they have a right to use as part of their licensed use of that photo.
The photo may not depict a natural garden setting as the link you provided but anyone can 'stage' blooms, either as shown or even part of a flower show. Right now, that is the only example we have of that bloom and this database is growing by leaps and bounds and when people do searches, most enjoy a visual aspect of an entry, I know I do. Hopefully others will add to the entries to show a wide variety of looks for that lily.
