I planted asparagus a couple of days ago, a friend gave me about 30 large corms that she got from a neighbor, I only planted half of them and shared the remainder with two others friends, one of them is taking her batch home to Montana. (they stay here during the winter months)
I didn't take my camera out today but I have my first rose of the season blooming, Joseph's Coat, a nice bright spot of color in the garden. I also have two dwarf iris blooming today, Cocoa Pink, always the first one to bloom

and Jazzamatazz:

as well as a Pacific Coast Iris, 'Deep Blue Sea'
