I don't give them anything. I have a huge old crowded pot of them too, they are shorter so far so I will be diving it up this winter and get a few more bulbs in the ground where they really seem to like it. They do take a while to really attain their size so once those bulbs get bigger I bet you will get bigger plants. Mine started emerging in Feb.-March I think and with nice weather they really took off fast.
