your Niphetos is the same we have in europe in our collections; the fuzz becomes less but doesn't disappear completely; at that time it loses the clear tuffs;

in early spring - when the tuffs are visible and it's real fuzzy - the colour has no green; the green colour appears later and only at a part of the leaves;
