Lynn,
my O.B. plant is a really slow grower, oldest 1 in my clump is 3 years old now. has never turned a solid red, just gets a slight tint of red. is starting to get a little more this year. it looks like your pic #4 in database. but has never shown that much red "yet". My 1st pic is a small plant, i took off the clump in April. it does seem to be growing faster and has a couple chicks emerging out. the last pic is a pot of Krebs that is same age and planted couple feet away from the OB clump in same dirt mix.basically same conditions.
and i got mine from Ohio real close to where Mr Schrooki had his nursery business
