Alice, once you find a cubit that you are interested in and you want to revisit and continue checking it out, you can click on the Join This Cubit button. Then, every time you click on the Home page, you'll see a list of all the cubits you have joined, very much like DG. They will show you when anything new has been posted.
You can also see what cubits you have joined by clicking the Your Profile tab at the top.
