I know about the small garden thing Mikey! I lived in San Jose, right on the border of Milpitas for most of my life. Tiny city lot but I packed it with plants that looked like a jungle. When hubby retired in 2010, we sold the house and moved north to Sebastopol, by Santa Rosa. Brought about 600 potted plants with me!
I have 1/2 acre to play with now, and it's plenty! Probably the older I get, it will be too much.
