"Yes" the voice said.
"My name is Charley and I received what I would consider an unacceptable shipment from you last Thursday. Since that time I have sent three emails regarding that shipment and have yet to receive a reply."
"I don't seem to have received any emails from you but lets look into this."

It turns out that for some reason, those particular emails weren't going through.
We then spent nearly an hour on the phone trying to determine what the problem was. I could reply to his emails, I could send the same email from my wife's email account, I just couldn't send it from my account.
Long story short, Bill was a delight to deal with and is sending a replacement. He doesn't know how that plant slipped through. I will be dealing with him again. All of you touting his business, and touting him as well were absolutely correct.
