purchased from 'Almost Eden' on line nursery for 2016 season. Too large a plant for too few blooms in my small garden. Will not grow again.

- So many blossoms that deadheading is impossible.

I have a few seed of this plant but so far, no germination. Trying winter sowing. I would love to grow this plant for the butterflies and hummingbirds.

2016 Commercial Seed, primed for easier germination - hope I can get germination with this variety. Instructions are to drop seed on a damp, light potting mix, sprinkle to cover seed with dry potting mix, do not wet this covering, place a top over the seed container to maintain the moisture level. Seed expected to germinate in about 14 days. I have five plants currently growing in this season of 2016.

A favorite butterfly plant.

Commercial Seed sold to me turned out to be common violets. Geo Seed discovered the seed error, notified me and reimbursed me for the cost of the seed.
