Hard to believe, but it's time to start thinking about fall planted, spring blooming bulbs.

As most of you know, the 'good' stuff sells out quickly. I would like place an order in the 2nd half of June.

Possible vendors are:
- ADR Bulb (https://ADRBulbs.com)
- Brent and Beckys (https://BrentandBeckysBulbs.co...)
- K van Bourgondien (https://DutchBulbs.com)
- Van Engelen (https://VanEngelen.com)

Are you planning to order bulbs this fall, Rick? I will be interested in some tulips if you order them. Can't take a lot though. I can only plant some in large pots to keep them safe from deer.

I can help with record keeping and bulb sorting if you need help.

I really want amaryllises this year -- anybody else? It's been a few years since we've ordered amaryllises, and I lost most of mine a while back, so I'm very interested in getting some.

Jumbo Dutch Amaryllis still come 10 to a box, looks like most are $10/bulb. Peruvian Jumbo Amaryllis are in boxes of 16, looks like most are $8/bulb.

If there's an order going in to ADR, please let me know. Even if nobody else wants Amaryllises, I'd probably order a box or two. If others are interested, I'll take at least 4 of any that I like (and I like most of them).

From the Dutch selections, I'm especially loving:
Striped Amadeus
Gervase (always)
Cherry Nymph
Barbados
Magic Green

From the Peruvian Selections
Blossom Peacock (no jumbo available, box of 25 regular size is $4 each, i'd take 8 or more)
Bolero
Double King
Mandala
... pretty much any of them!

I'm continuing to work on dividing the daffodils I already have and spreading them around. Anybody who wants to help dig, the deal is replant half the clump and take the other half home. Most tags are long gone, but I do have designated areas for double daffodils and butterfly daffodils.

However, if anybody is ordering daffodils, I'd have a hard time resisting anything I don't currently have.

... for example, there's a double version of 'Tete a Tete' called 'Tete Deluxe' that looks just precious! However, they don't have it in small boxes. A tray of 500 bulbs is $180, which works out to $36 per 100 bulbs. I'm "in" for 100-200. Anybody else?

I had the Foxtrot from ADR several years back, and would love to get it again if we order bulbs from ADR. I will be happy to take other varieties too.

I'll split a box of Foxtrot with you, whatever number you don't want. That one was gorgeous. I love pink & purple tulips!

That would be great, Jill!!! I can only plant them in big pots. I probably can take about 30.

They come in a display box of 100 bulbs for about $50... split? The spot I have in mind for them can take 50. Eyeball your pots and LMK. I can always sneak 20 down by my neighbor's mailbox.

We need to get to $400 for an ADR order. I can organize it. If nobody else wants amaryllis, I'll order the mixed Dutch box for $180.

I'm really loving the Tete Deluxe (double version of the classic mini Tete a Tete), but it only comes in a crate of 500 (for $180, so 100 would be $13, or 50 for $6.50). I can use 100 for sure, maybe up to 250, but that's it for fall planting for me, especially since I might be putting them in the ground in January, depending on the timing of delivery vs. knee surgery. (I have an appointment in mid July and should know soon after that.)

@RickM, did you want to order from ADR this year?

I'll try to check in periodically with pricing. They will generally give us a discount or free shipping -- with shipping costs rising, I'm guessing it'll be a discount that won't quite cover shipping.

Anyone else interested in Miniature Pueblo or any of the miniature tulips. As I mentioned - I'd love some of the Foxtrot. thank you.
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

Sorry, been out of town for a couple of days...

I've got 'Pueblo', but it's a cutie. I was looking at species and miniature tulips, especially 'Little Beauty'. I had it for more than 10 years, naturalizing beautifully along the side walkway. Not sure what caused their decline; it's possible they needed to be dug and divided. A box of 150 is $40, so figure 50 for $14. They are larger than crocus but smaller than most tulips, so you need 50 (or at least 25) for any sort of impact.

Chantell, I've got you down for 20 Foxtrot tulips. Do you want to split a box of 'Little Beauty' tulips?

RIck, got you for the box of green tulips. Are you interested in Amaryllis this year?

We're only halfway for a crate of 500 'Tete Deluxe' mini daffs. I'll ask some of my neighbors...

The green tulips are for Lisa, not me.

I'm going to pass for the moment. It appears that ADRs selection is smaller this year and a lot more expensive.

whoops, got it. Sorry Lisa!

ADS selection is smaller this year, but the prices are still good compared to van Engelen or B &B. Except for crocus, which are always cheaper at van Engelen.
