Sorry, but there will be NO 'Tete Deluxe' daffodils. They were left out of our order. They weren't able to get them to us in time for the swap. My knee surgery date was moved up to this coming Tuesday (9/3), so it's just as well for me not to have 200+ more bulbs to plant in January.

If they have them next year, we can see about trying again to order them.

Also, we were sent 'Silver Parrot' (pink and white) tulips instead of 'Super Parrot' (green and white). They are in the process of figuring out how to correct this. 'Super Parrot' seems to still be in stock, so I don't think there will be a problem getting them to us. My guess is that they won't want to pay return shipping on the 'Silver Parrot'...

Heya, Robin! Not sure you'll see this before you head out. I'm not sure I'm going to make it to the swap, as yesterday's headache is trying to return, and I can't take my usual meds for it (knee surgery Tuesday). I hope it'll be OK to get the pet bed to you when we rendezvous for those amaryllis bulbs.

I hope your head feels better soon. Scrambles doesn't know he's getting a new bed so he won't be disappointed but I am that I won't see you. I'll bring your catnip toys to the amaryllis get together.

Thanks, Rick! I had my eye on a crate of 'Tete Deluxe' (a double version), but they didn't get to port until Monday. Since my knee surgery was the next day and I had half the bulbs, I asked ADR to cancel that part of our order. We'll do 'em next year!

Are sales starting already? I need to check van Engelen for remaining Amaryllis varieties. I ordered 2 boxes of 10 from ADR but would like to add a few additional groups of 3.

I'm not sure which one I want for gift giving this year. I need at least six, and as many as 18.

Rick, I have two boxes of amaryllis coming from ADR, 10 'Striped Amadeus' $10 each (jumbo) and 25 'Blossom Peacock' $5 each (regular size) If you want a few of either, just LMK. So far, Robin has spoken for 3 of the 'Blossom Peacock'. I want at least 4 SA and at least 9 BP.

I'll take a look at ADR and see what they have left, since those haven't shipped yet.

Rick, I'm definitely interested in 1 or 2 Trumpet Amaryllis 'Santiago', whatever makes your numbers work out. Could also take 1 cybister 'Green Valley', if available.

Does anybody want any 'Striped Amadeus' (jumbo, $10) or 'Blossom Peacock' (regular size, $5) amaryllis? They should be shipping soon from ADR. I know Robin is down for 3 'Blossom Peacock'.

Here are the ones I'm looking at from van Engelen. These are not jumbo bulbs but a good size (32-36, depending on variety). Except 'Inferno', these are all varieties I've grown before & really loved. I could be talked into sharing a pack of any double amaryllis...
