Fred, I'm trying to imagine that one in 8 inches, and I see it. Wow, what a big pretty pattern.
Reminds me of an artistically designed dinner plate. These patterned daylilies are works of art in their

I will post more blooms of it Becky, I also want to see it the heat effects it, or any of the other pattern's that bloom. I did lots of pattern's, large and small, dips and tets.

Not going to be a great week for blooms with lows in the 40s and 50s all week. Nothing new blooming yesterday but I did put the pollen from the above seedling on the Tet Thin Ice seedling I posted in March, it had five blooms yesterday.

I really like the above sdlg. As mentioned before, its the first ever sdlg, from DD I have seem that doesnt have the pattern. I think that makes it special.

What I wonder about is .... what kind of traits pass on to the children? I've seen some pretty neat traits that were skipped a generation or two and then show up out of the blue.

My beautiful avatar bloom was a DD x DD cross. I suspect that the pink color came from a couple generations back. Unfortunately, I believe I have lost this seedling over the Winter. (No idea why .... a total bummer!)

Fred, please do keep posting the pics on your WoJ one. It is impressive.

Still to cool at night for the seedling's to open, but I have been saving the pollen from the two patterns and have set seed on the cream one. Cool nights are to last through the weekend.

Wow! Spunky, we love all of your flowers! It is great to see you branching out to hybridize for patterns, as you have a gift and work hard at it. Doris and I are looking forward to your miniature "LILLIAN'S RAINBOW AT DAWN" blooming this season. It will be in the hybridizing tray for sure! Keep up the great work! David
