Ev: I am pretty sure I will have enough of Reckless in Denim and Sand Dancer in the Spring. I can put a note and get back to you. But to answer your question. Sand Dancer does really well but...it goes dormant as soon as Summer comes so I don't know what will show up in the Spring till Spring. I highly remommend it Evelyn just on looks and uniqueness alone.

Hybradizer: It grows relatively well but part of the reason it doesn't grow better may be what's around it. Sky and Sun which increases like a weed is next to it.

Ev: I meant to tell you that i think Quail Ale took a couple of years to establish but now blooms every year.

Wonderful or Amazing or Gorgeous

Here are some more Spring pics:
Sky and Sun: A huge clump of an Iris. It has great Diamond Dusting and is a good blue for me. I also have multiple crosses from it, though they are all still too young to produce bloom. We shall see what comes in the next year though.


Sky Lift: This one is growing on me. Good Diamond Dusting.


Sneezy: This one took a few years to establish but now blooms every Spring. I am just crazy about it.


Snow Peas: My last year's green irises were often yellow this year. It is one of my little projects now to start recording how green my green Irises are each year and try to note things about the weather, the fertilizer used, whether it rained and how much (I think this is the big deciding factor but I am truly unsure at this point).


Snow Tree: Yet another yellow Iris that was Green the year before. Even yellow, I still love this one as well as Snow Peas, just for their uniqueness. But the curiosity of why they vary in color year to year is really getting to me. If anyone already knows, please share.


Snow Job: This one is just really colorful in a subtle way. If you look hard, you can see shades of pink, purple, yellow, and green veins topped off by that bright orange beard.


Songs Of Erin: I thought I lost this one and not only did it return but it bloomed. This one has some good green at the shoulders.


South Padre Island: Here is one that I think is underrated. The colors on this iris are so beautiful.


Spectacle: This one was a spectacle in size alone. The blooms were huge and the leaves were huge.

Snow Job has a lot of interesting detail that I had to enlarge the photo in order to see.

Spice Lord: I hesitated in purchasing this because I have other similar Irises. But so glad I did. Love the color.


Spring Starter. Blooms very heavy and produces many unique blooms.


Steffie Ann: I bought it for the name but really love the flower too. I just did not get a good picture at all this year.


St Petersburg: This one sometimes reblooms. This year it just bloomed very heavy in Spring. I will take it


Stolen Sweets: Lovely lovely Iris. What could you even do to this Iris to make it more beautiful. I can't think of anything.


Strange Brew: Good consistent bloomer.


Strawberry Shake: Like I really needed another pink frilly iris but so many people rave about this one. They were right and yes, I needed it Look at those dusty pink beards. I think I could just pull them off and carry them around in my hand like a treasure or something. It's possible they are the prettiest beards I have seen.

Elsa ~ That is good to know about Strange Brew. Everyone liked it so well, I ended up giving all of mine away! Not on purpose, but I forgot to write one down...then, bye, bye! I'll get it again some day.

Suspicion: Good green accents on this one. That is why I love it.


Sweet Water Pie Burns: Though not the best picture, the flower itself is just wonderful.


Tanzanian Tangerine: Wonderful Speckles.


Teagan: My all time favorite. Just look at that blue.

Temporal Anomaly: This grows like crazy, blooms like crazy and the blooms are huge. Plus it is so unique. It's all in the details for Temporal Anomaly. I have some seedlings from this and sure hope they make it to maturity.


Tengo Amigo: Not the best increaser for me but it blooms every year. As long as it keeps coming back and looks the way it does, I am fine with that.


Terre De Feu: The colors on this are so rich. Really really love.


Thornbird: One strange iris but different enough that it is not going anywhere.

Trumped: I love the yellow blaze up the Standards contrasting with the dark Purple Falls:


Unknown Iris I culled and then...I culled this Iris because I waited for at least 6 years and it never bloomed. Finally when it bloomed, I was not that impressed so I culled it. Oops...I noticed in the pictures it has very prominent tri-color beards.


Vanilla Frappe: This was sold to me as Vanilla Frappe and looks like some of the pictures but not at all like others. What do you think?:


Venus Visit: I am just nuts about this Iris:


Winterberry: I have taken better pictures. But I still think it is pretty.


Winter's Smile: What a beautiful bunch of fluff. This was a first year Iris but it didn't stop it from producing all these curls.
