I realise I never answered anybody - I had no reblooms on anything because of the few irises that are still in the ground/haven't gone missing were most likely focused on regenerating the foliage that was being eaten instead of blooming.
The animals causing it are on our farm (goats/chickens, ducks and a few other avians). It is a personal farm that my family and I agreed on. One of many reasons was not being able to find a place safe enough from our critters to raise irises. There are ways I could have been more proactive, but I wasn't.
There is that salvagable place with plots (that need to be weeded out) to use, but I'd need to find some sort of (cheap) fencing to keep animals out. There's also a very small raised back deck to use and I am using that now for some irises that were shipped this year.
All in all, having irises has not gone well, but I still want to continue on maybe as a side hobby with only a few instead of one main hobby and hundreds.
Gee, this turned into a long post. Didn't mean for it to be so long, but I figured I'd update at least a little of what is going on with irises regarding myself.
