Are those the small tomatoes? I think they are hardier than the large ones....the year after I've grown cherry tomatoes, my garden has a ton of seedlings from them.

Although I have grown all those things I just don't anymore. Don't that much love carrots although I sure do love beets!

Got more tomatoes planted yesterday. I think I will most likely start on the pepper planting today. Have lots of peppers to plant.

Jumped from planting tomatoes out to doing peppers today. Got a lot accomplished. 48 pepper plants planted today. And everything watered including the tomato plants I planted yesterday.

Much more to do but it is going well. The rain that is started will make sure all is watered in really good.

I toured the garden before the rain started this morning. Veggies look good. Both the ones I planted yesterday and earlier all this week.

I was planting peppers again today. Managed to get 37 peppers planted after taking Lily Dog for our exercise walk. Needed to do that first as I just knew If I started planting I would have no energy for walking after I was done.

End of last week I had planted out 48 peppers. And I still have more to do.

OMG, Rita...so many pepper plants. No wonder we get to see all those great pepper pics later on! Drooling

Those Ace Sweet Bell Peppers are finally coming up for me. Boy, they took a long time to show up! I now have 8 each of the 4 pepper varieties I planted this year. They look very healthy, but their growth is slower than I expected, though. My tomatoes look better this year than I can remember in a long time. I did nothing different except to use the heat mats when I planted the seeds. They came up faster than other years, so I guess their robust growth is due to their earlier sprouting.

While my marigolds did not survive the frost on Sunday night, my pea patch came through with flying colors!

For sure I went nuts on the pepper plants this season. Honestly I don't know what I was thinking starting so many peppers!!

Took my dog for our exercise walk and am now set up to go plant peppers again.

Planted more Mangani peppers. Geez how many of these things do I need? I already planted a row of them yesterday.

Then I planted Ten-Pur-La Japanese peppers and 5 nice sized Takara Hybrid Shishito Peppers.

Need to go out to water and then I am done with planting for today as I still tired from yesterday.

We have been in a weather pattern that has been giving frequent rains. I only watered the stuff I planted yesterday. Not anything else in the garden which has gotten plenty watered by the rains.

Transplants do have to be watered well......my peppers were on the porch all day, but had to bring them in as the night temps will be 40s....too cold for them...they are still very small......but I think being out today helped them.

It was lovely out today. Clouded up now but morning and early afternoon were sunny and warm.

I was out planting peppers again. Managed to plant my 24 Pretty N Sweet Pepper plants out front.
