Critter, Your idea of transplanting in the fall would likely work. However, please remember that they are not growing as fast then, so there might be issues in hardiness or vigor in establishing for harsher winter weather. You might experience some losses, but they should not be major

Thanks for the encouragement everybody... I wandered around this morning and realized i do have several plants available that like similar conditions as semps, plus some sedums big enough to at least take cuttings if they don't have layered rooted pieces yet... So I posted on the trading thread, too!
