It's a good day indeed as the Lyonara Memoria Doug Lace 'Rosminah' arrived today. It looks to me like it has three spikes, not just two as promised. This is a really big plant and in good condition. Oh happy day!

I've still got two contractors bidding on the lanai conversion. I think I may not have to move orchids again.
By the way, I'm really happy with this vendor. He seems to be more of a hobbiest like us and he specializes in Schomburgkia crosses. His Email address is: [email protected]

Great looking plant, Jim!
Does your Tabebuia tree always go decidous? I ask because I drive by what I thought was a Tabebuia every time I go to the grocery store. The flowers look the same, but this one didn't loose it's leaves this year. I know there are many different kinds, but can't find pics of evergreen types. Guess I'll have to remember to take my camera and check it out. It's been in bloom all winter.
The tabs keep their leaves all winter, then lose them as the blooms come out. Right after the blooms, they are back in leaf and put out these long string bean like brown seed pods.

My 2 plants from Andy's arrived today
Neofinetia falcata and Paphiopedilum delanatii
The Paph. looks like it had a bumpy ride, too hot...too cold...too medium? I sent Andy's a note.
I sent it to my husband and he forwarded it. I've never had a mounted plant before,
it's just amazing how 'natural' it looks on it's little log. I'm not sure where I'm going
to put it either..they like it on the cool side , right? In the unheated sunroom with
the Cyms?
The neo? I have them in both rooms right now, cool and warm. The ones in warm are new and came from warm places. Next year they all will go to a cool room. You will need to water it daily but always early in the day because you don't want it soppy wet and cool at night. Or better, call Andy and ask what it is used to.
