Well, I just ordered me a Midnight 'Blue Cardinal' thanks to Jims lovely pictures Along with a couple others. I'm feeling the buzz! The seller is holding them for me till June since I'm getting a bit ahead of myself

I just bought my first plants on eBay from jewellorchids. I read somewhere on this cubit that they were reputable. I got Laelia pumila and Encyclia dichroma. I cannot wait until they arrive!

it is Bollopetalum Midnight Blue and then the 'Clonal name'.
Perhaps this makes it easier looking it up.

Kathy, I've been looking at the pictures of your new Maxillaria uncata and am falling in love. I may have to go after that one.

All I'm having delivered today is the new patio furniture which I will probably have to put in the garage until the pavers are finished and sealed.

I came home from the Spring Garden Show yesterday with four new babys Den.jonesii (ruppianum), Zygo. 'psycho', Encyclia lancifolia, and Euchili citrina






There's another spike on the top of the Den, but I couldn't get it in the pic.

I have to really sigh about the Encyclia lancifolia! I love that plant!
Somewhere in the early nineties someone moved and left me a small plant of this. It always grew so well that I split the plant twice, each time into 4 good pieces. First time I did that, no problem. It never totally recovered from the second division. It just sort of languished along, although it still bloomed every year, but this Spring I finally tossed it. In my hands it needed a distinct dry spell in the Winter.
The Euchile/Encyclia citrina should do really well in your environment!

Harry saw this one and liked it, so he bought it- C. Jewel Box 'Dark Waters'


Then we decided to split the cost on one, I was tempted to get one of the spotted Brassia hybrids, but we got Encyclia cordigera x Alata, (hope I spelled that right), it smells so good!!


Plants in the car, next to our new Peach soda (which tasted a little yucky, unfortunately!)


Luckily the hailstorm didn't hurt the greenhouse, we just got it repaired!

Good looking orchids following you home, Susan. Those hail stones are huge! Very dangerous. Any damage to report?
