We were very, very lucky. Only some dents in the hood and roofs of our cars, and on the metal roof on our house. The only real damage was to a gutter that had a 3-4" hole in it, probably from one of the big hailstones. There was a lot of damage about 5 miles away, many trees down, roof off part of the high school, a building pretty much demolished across from the HS. There was a nursery nearby that had one of it's greenhouses missing, kind of a hoop house that held many of their sale plants. Something just sucked the plastic film right off the frame.

Luckily no loss of life in our area.

I'm glad to know you and your family are fine. In another week, there will be cars with hail damage on every used car lot in town. I went through one of these big hail events when I lived in St. Louis many years ago.

Oh my, looking at the size of the hail!! You were lucky indeed.

Nice loot! The Dark Waters is very nice and I think I can conjure up the scent of the Encyclia by looking at it.
You can write a new name for this x on your tag, your plant was actually registered twice -

Yeh, you should have seen how hard it was to go that extra distance. They had all the streets shut down for a marathon. I did get the cat food though.

Ursula, If you had a cat, it wouldn't need cat food, it would be eating your fish. I'm looking forward to the Sob. bloom too. Hope I can make it happy.

Hey Jim, I don't have Apopka, so I had to check the last day of the show for discounts. Got a couple too!

Patty has a meeting in Miami tomorrow so she left today. I have a shrimp cocktail, potato encrusted cod, fresh sugar snap peas, some Indian Naan bread and a bottle of Chardonnay from Biltmore Estates in North Carolina. Rachmaninov is entertaining with some piano sonatas. I hate it when she's gone. Whistling
