Carol, you got some nice plants. If there was a place to purchase orchids like those close by, I might actually go get cat food...and a cat, I suppose.

The Tampa Orchid Show starts today and runs through the weekend. With list in hand, I'm on my way. I'll try to take some pics.

I am posting the orchid show pics on the orchid show thread but I wanted to tell you what followed me home. I was after species Dendrobiums and did reasonably well.

I bought:
D. spectabile
D. finisterrae (end-of-the-world orchid)
D. fimbriatum
D. kingianum
Epc. Rene Marques 'Tyler'
Milt. Bert Fields 'Leash' (in spike)
Myrmecophila brysiana
Onc. Sharry Baby 'Misaki'
Lc. Canhamiana v. Coeerulea 'Azure Skies' AM/AOS (C. mossiae X L. purpurata) I'm a sucker for anything with L. purpurata in it. This one is blooming shown below.

I forgot to mention that the Lc. Canhamiana v. Coeerulea 'Azure Skies' AM/AOS is very fragrant. It reminds me of a herbal tea with perhaps a bit of cinnamon. I repotted everything early this morning. Looking good.

I got up this morning and rushed off to the store to get some cat food. Upon arriving, I remembered I had no cat. However, as long as I was half way there, I stopped in at the orchid show and sale. I came home with some much needed repoting supplies and Den. Oriental Smile 'Fantasy'. I had thought about it last night and decided to get it if it was still there. http://www.flickr.com/photos/e...
