This is a very nice little iris. However, it is not really blue. It is not really purple either...... more..... blurple. Perhaps it should be Blurple Parrot. At any rate it is lovely and a faithful spring bloomer.

no, I grow blue-violet irises, this is too bold for violet, definitely blurple.

This one grows slowly for me and was slow to bloom here but is well worth the wait! A share from an ATP/NGA member.

I moved it in 2017 to a new location and that seemed to awaken its interest in growing and blooming. I hope it continues this trend. It is one you do not see for sale by vendors very often. Sure glad it lives in my garden.
