Thanks Rita, We think he's pretty special too. Might be taking him to the vets in the am. He & Zeeke got into a tussle and now his eye is watery and he keeps squinting. Will re-acess tommorrow. Sad
Now onto some blooms from today.

Blue-Eyed Butterfly sure is pretty. I wonder if it's not in the background of Four Eyes.
I haven't heard of that one Fred. I love how many different DL we get to see on here! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I'm in love! Pat Cochenour's Octomom bloomed for the first time ever today. I'd not seen it in person and it's prettier than any picture I've seen. It's really big. My 2nd story bedroom looks out over the daylily beds and from across the yard I saw the bloom and recognized it. Wow.

Oh my gosh, BEAUTIFUL flowers today! Octomom is fantastic, LA Hot Sauce is great and so is Dale Hensley - does it really look like the photo? The color is so saturated. Of course, I love them all, I haven't met a daylily I didn't like yet!

2 seedlings blooming today 11D-2 FFO. Blazing Lampsticks x Papa Smurf. Even after sitting in direct sunlight all day, it has kept it's color. It truly isn't muddy, it's a rich purpley-red Thumb of 2012-06-25/philljm/191176

Also 11U-1 Tooth x Unknown twins. The first bloom was ugly, but these two are looking much prettier

Aztec Headdress. In the brilliant sunshine, I can see it is diamond dusted. I hope I was able to capture that Thumb of 2012-06-25/philljm/6bb4a4

Sparkling Orange is also showing diamond dusting in the sunlight. I am not sure it is visible on the photo. It just glows

So far behind... These are new favorites!

LILLIAN'S JINGER BRED - Just bloomed this morning, and I love love love it! Fred, you have outdone yourself! So much nicer and fuller than PRINCESS DIANA was for me.

LIMONERO SQUEEZE - Can't get over the color of this one!

COVENTRY RUFFLES - Opened yesterday, and WOW! (I like to get pictures both in shade and in sunlight if possible.)

MYSTIC IMAGE

LAKE CHAMPAGNE - This one has that lavender pink that I love so much!

AWESOME BOB - Just Awesome!

SUNSHINE ALL DAY

COMPETITION - Totally love this daylily - Incredible substance with that crinkled look and yummy colors! FFO, and not the best bloom -- but I love it anyway! (Early morning pictures)

SUPER MODEL - Couldn't believe it when I first saw this bloom yesterday -- another Wowser!

WISPY RAYS - I cannot believe that all this time I thought this was a dip, until I rechecked this morning and discovered it's a TET! So I immediately threw some BASS GIBSON pollen on it! The deeper red color is darker than my pictures show -- what a beauty, and I love those deeper colored veins running the length of the petals!

SPEEDO

MISS PIGGY - Love this pink spider!
