Haven't a clue if it was thrip damage. It did take FOREVER to open, it was full and ready to pop for about a week before it even bothered to open. I think the uneven color was all that was really wrong with it. I assumed that was due to watering it with treated water during that period it wasn't open, but wasn't fully closed either.

Will have to check some others to see if it is thrips or not

Everyone's blooms are gorgeous. ~Jan

Love that Adorable Tiger, is it a mini?

And you definitely don't have MRI, and I am sure I have seen that spider before, I will think on it.

As for the possible thrips damage on my seedlings - it could be. As I did some research on it, they cause problems when it is hot and dry - yep!( even though I have watered) The one next to it has good color but is missing a petal - although we DID have 40-50 mph winds yesterday and last night. I will try to pick something up today and treat that bed.

By the way, I got a HUGE box from Maryotts yesterday - with many gift plants. Apparently due to the weather, the fans are smaller than usual. To me, they looked good. Not monster fans, but really nice fans. Of course, I am not complaining!~j

Jan, Bill Maryott mentioned to me in an e-mail that they were trying to let things grow a little longer since they were a bit smaller. I usually try to get my order in early enough for them to ship with their first batch so he wanted to let me know they were holding back a bit. What fun new 'toys' did you get!???

(My Pic is ugly though)

Beautiful!!! I really like the one "Graham Hanson" but I can't find it. I know you questioned the spelling but I've tried it every which way I can think and still not finding it. Does anyone know??? Knowing me, I'm doing something totally wrong Shrug!

Your sure have a load of beauties today. I did want to say that Awesome Luck will get loads better. It always takes mine to the 3rd or 4th bloom to really get good. If it;s new, it may be next year to really be pretty. I didn't like mine at first, it was a bonus plant, but now I love it.

Had a big bunch of my non - double Velvet Onyx blooming today. Even with the hot weather, mine has always been single, but that's OK. I also had FFO's on Tennessee Flycatcher. Will post photos later. ~Jan

That's quite the haul Jan! I've been eying Strikingly Dramatic and Red Chili Rendezvous but they didn't make it this year so I could splurge for Busy Being Blue.

Siloam Doodlebug Poly (for Leslie). It usually puts out on poly a year but never a 5 petal (a pentapetal?)
