I just found this thread and have been enjoying all of your containers. You have some great ideas. I took on the project of doing a hummingbird garden on my deck this year. I added hostas and some coleus for color.

The blue salvia is beautiful, which one is it?

Thanks, The blue salvia is 'Blue Angel'. It is very easy to grow from seed. This is my first year growing it and I love it. Salvia 'Wendy's Wish' is great too.

Here is an update of my succulent garden bench, taken in late spring. Second photo is closer showing the lewisia in bloom. I originally planted with various sedums and semps. The Sedum reflexum planted itself in there. The terracotta pot holds Semp. Oddity. Cascading over from the backside is miniature rose Angel Rose which I grew from seeds.

The green plant on the far right of the first photo is Oregano Kent Beauty, not in bloom at the time I took the photo but blooming now.



I really don't do anything to take care of this other than splash a bit of water on it now and then .

I used this beat up garden chair to make a sedum planting. All I did was lay down some weed fabric, mix a bit of sand into my potting mix, then plop down a pre-planted "sedum tile" on top after loosening the roots a bit. A scrounging expedition around the yard for rocks to hold the soil together finished it off. Again, pretty care free. Several different sedums are in the "tile".
