Oh, I almost forgot one. Registered.

Shamrock Summer

That will do for now. Gotta go water some pots in
the shade, thankfully.

Thanks so much Michele. The flowers look like rows of bread plates.
Now if I can get some edging and eyes in them, I will be happy, except
I may be going about this backwards. I really don't know yet. I'm
talking about size first, then defining characteristics.

So many pretty ones. Thanks for taking the time to post these, especially when you're getting into the "time to make the donuts" stage of the season. nodding

Laughing with you Leslie. I like that, "time to make the donuts". Oh yeah, so
on the mark. LOL.

Have a moderate number of pods setting if I can keep
them watered enough to hold on till they ripen. I needed to have less, anyway.
Planted way too many this year.

Thanks Stephanie, so sorry, I almost missed your reply. It's Leslie's

My goodness, it's hot out there. I don't remember such
heat in prior years.

The rebloom scapes are coming up, but without rain,
I don't expect much from them.

A few pics of seedlings, new last year.

I like that second seeding the most but of course they are all pretty.

This is crazy heat and especially for this early in the summer.

Rita, it hit 100 on our thermometer in the shade. Forecast
says it was 102. I'm definitely in for the day. Need to water
later, but the temps forecasted for early evening probably means I will be
watering with a flashlight. LOL

I'm not acclimated to temperatures this high in June or in any other
month. I wonder what winter will be like.

Thanks Betty, but I don't know what they will be like after a week of this.
Or maybe more, a week is all that is forecasted so far. Of course, some
of the large clumps are getting crispy looking, going into dormancy.

I especially like SC Cherries and Cream x Something Bold.

Shirlee, you are getting Texas kind of heat. Sad Difficult to handle even if you are used to it and I hope it breaks for everyone very soon.
It’s okay to not know all the answers.

Shirlee, Spacecoast Cheeries & Cream x Something Bold is real nice. It is also good that it is a prolific bloomer and clumps quickly. I think that is just as important as a pretty face.

Debra, thanks, and what on earth do you do to protect these plants
from the high temps in Texas? I am concerned that all mine are
going to die. I water and water, and the soil dries up very quickly.
No rain, and I doubt there will be any for some time. When it does
rain, hubby and I are going to go out and dance in it. Green Grin!

No, I am not used to this heat. 103 today, with 90s throughout the
week, then back to triple digits next weekend. I know it is much
higher than that in other places. I feel for persons, plants, and
animals having to suffer through a heat wave and/or drought.

Thank you so much Margaret, Cindy, and Debra (shive1) for the
nice comments. Take care guys if you are in all this heat.
