Alright...add the Kimo, I love both! You can thank Hetty for it with all those beautiful pics! How big a pot do they need to be in at first and for the first few years maybe? These will be my first plants that I have to bring in over the winter. Wonder if my cats are going to like them... I've got some figuring out to do for sure... no basement (darned southern style houses), so putting them somewhere at '40 or 45' degrees to go dormant could be as challenging as keeping them indoors and going...

Shed? garage? Laundry room?

I would put them in a 3 gal, that way you won't be stepping them up again in six months.

Hetty is correct these are in 3 gal pots now (not root bound yet) but they need the room if you want to get a great plant Its worth the investment to up the pot I learned the hard way i think some of mine i left in 1 gal pots and did not bloom. when they got to 3 gal pots the are shooting for the sky by the day and i am certain i will see blooms this or next year.

One very wise Lady Whistling has told me and others "these are trees you know??" nodding the bigger the better....as long as you can protect them from cold. if you have very long cold temps you can uproot them for winter and replant in spring (i dont do it ) my winter is about 3-10 days long Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing .... no i have the room to leave in pots for now but looking at the ground hard they might meet the open earth next spring...

Hetty is great ( enabler Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing ) sales person due to her wealth of knowledge Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

will put you down for that

Rolling on the floor laughing OK, maybe the garage. I kept some dahlia tubers in there one year before I realized that I really can leave them in the ground here. Shed is unheated and probably doesn't stay much warmer than the outside in winter (has a nice roof vent to let the heat out so its bearable in the summer... but lets in cold too.) Is it better to let them go dormant than to try and overwinter in room temps?

For everyone that is seeing this i send my cuttings to Luc AT Florida Colors For grafting. It is 5.00 per graft plus shipping both ways. I am willing to foot the shipping bill if there are more then 3 cuttings bought and mabe even shipping back to me. If I do get it grafted its going to be sold as a plant not a cutting!!! He does an great job.

Lisa
i will put the plumeria on the spread and then transfer the amount to the adenium spread sheet and if you want any other plants ill get to that and look at a discount for you thanks for your order. let me know if you decide to cancel or change your order. I do have a few other plumeria cuttings i will be adding in the next 2 weeks and i can get them grafted or rooted but grafting is my choice you get a good root base and the graft is 90% successful or more.

Spread sheet up to date to here

Hello

i always promise fun with my co-ops As this is not a "co-op" as much i am calling it a SALE i still like to have fun and a game.

soo game time!!!

NOW GAME #1
rules
1 you can only guess one time
2 you must be a part of one of the current SALES ( plumeria ,adenium, plant sales NOT the co-ops) You need to have ordered or supplied info for the sale!!!
3 the closest to with out going over wins
4 you can not guess what anyone else has guessed
5 the game will end when i receive the next 3 shipments of plumeria ( due to me before Friday the 14th)
6 the prize will be my choice of a plant or cutting that suits your taste or order. I will look at what badges and ask you a series of questions to determine the prize.

The game Out of the Next 3 shipments how many plumeria plants, cuttings and or seeds will arrive to my house?
i will give a few hints over the next 2 days but you can only guess one time the same game is posted on all 3 sales and you can guess only one time per game not per sale!!! Don't go over!!!

HINT#1 i have variegated plumeria arriving from Thailand is one of the shipments!!

Hi, I'd like to get one of your new to plumeria packages. I love plumeria, but have not had success with them in the past, so I hope I do better this time. I'm having a little trouble navigating around the ATP site - DG site is so much easier.

First a big Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Where do you live?
second feel free to post any questions here on the thread. I dont mind....i actually invite chatter with others about plants i have or even don't have on the sales thread.

Next feel free to privet tree mail ma at any time I will do my best with a quick response. If it is a question I don't know or like others opinions ill ask if we can pot where it will be best answered by other knowledgeable people. I know my way around these threads very well and know who (most the time) are the knowledgeable people and monitor the threads on a daily basis.
