Today I noticed my tango lilies started to grow. But I'm not sure if I'm owner of Graffitti or Honey bee :D

A nice, healthy, fat sprout coming up. Do I also see Eranthis and crocus in the pic? They would be nice companions....

@Australis Question to you about aurelians. Can i make them without embryo rescue? I have few trumpets, have lilium henryi, would like to make aurelian hybrid in the following years.

I haven't directly crossed henryi with a trumpet, but I am confident that you can make Aurelians without embryo rescue. I have done crosses between Aurelians (that are strongly henryi-like) and trumpets here that I have seedlings currently growing from. Of course, the number of viable seeds varies greatly depending on the cross (even between Aurelians). Definitely worth giving it a go (and make the crosses both ways, as sometimes it'll only work in one direction).

Thx. It's impossible to buy Aurelians here in Europe. They are very rare so i would like to make them myself. My garden is small and I don't have room for a lot of hybrids so for the past 4 years I have been collecting those lilies that seemed to me to be the most beautiful and are quite durable in my conditions. I need 2-3 more OTs and i am done collecting. After that only my own hybrids (and maybe more species).

Due to virus problems and closed borders my friend redirected 4 lily boxes to my address. More then 300 bulbs in my house right now.

Just to show you two-box content. I have two more boxes to empty. I never believed I would see so many lilies in one place. Too bad I have nowhere to go with them, I would plant all this.

That's a lot of bulbs, Lucius! What's the plan with them if you can't plant them?

@Australis Me and my friend found a solution. I will send plants to a friend of a friend in the north of Croatia. He will plant them and send them to the rightful owner in the fall or winter. Somehow we managed to organize ourselves and save these plants from ruin. There is more than 80 kilograms of bulbs here. Virus situation almost destroyed everything due to closed borders between Croatian and Herzegovina. I couldn't resist not taking myself a few hybrids. I took: Dancing Lady, Exotic Sun, African Lady, High Tea, Scheherazade, Conca d'or. Now I have to figure out where to plant it. Sweet torment.
