This is a first time bloomer for me and I just discovered it was blooming today. That can happen if the blooms face the window instead of the OC interior. Here is C. intermedia X Bl. morning glory

Lovely, elegant beauties with just a touch of floof. The color on the Maui Maid is amazing.

I have the same Morning Glory x but the lip is less stripey. This is one of my most hardy plants and it blooms twice a year or more. Prone to scale though!

Jim, I'm Lovey dubby your Ctna Maui Maid X Mlp Brysiana... I don't know why I keep my
wish list in ink, it should be in pencil, as often as I keep changing the top spot!
This opened for me today, it's a first time bloom on this Bc. Richard Mueller x L. splendida
from Marble Branch Farms. I'm not totally in love with the color, perhaps it will change...

I'm packing for three days at the Hilton on Clearwater Beach. It is the annual Master Gardener Conference, I may take my laptop but it doesn't have my photos on it. I'll be back Wednesday evening.

Tarev, how cheerful!

Lindsey, I agree. It has a nice shape, but I keep my fingers crossed for you on the color....It is fine, but not "oh wow".... Smiling

Jim, sounds like fun!

I am now starting the October thread - a little "punctually" perhaps.

Yes, Ursula ..it's totally lacking in WOW!
I'm not seeing it on the Marble Branch website anymore and the few images I've seen on other pages
are certainly WOW worthy...maybe just that it's a first time flower and hasn't found it's voice yet?
Jim, send us a postcard!

The foliage to flower ratio is off as well...I guess I'm just partial to the huge colorful ( some might say Vulgar!) Catts.!
