Once in a while Spunky1 has a contest and he will let people submit ideas here on a thread and the one he picks gets a prize or maybe even a fan of something. He is very smart but other people might just be staying up too late.

@Joy, Thanks for the compliment! Red Rampage was a bonus from some company I purchased from and I almost threw it away but when it bloomed I knew it was a keeper, the flowers are big and lush.
My favorite from your bunch was RED TWISTER such a bright and cherry flower, I just love the form. My RADIATION BIOHAZARD did not look red to me, I was surprised when you posted it as a red. I wonder why, I think mine was pink or something. I guess it just depends on what time of day you take picture. Oh....I do have one that looks red.

Glen, I've noticed that some hybridizers will use themes for naming, like movies or music, which makes it easier. Others? Who knows.

I have Marse Connell, too. Does well here.

Gosh, there are so many pretty reds!! I do love Red Rampage also. I have Newberry Festival and Raspberry Wine, both of which are nice ones to have. Newberry Festival really clumps up fast for me and it also easily gets proliferations.

Susan, RADIATION BIOHAZARD is registered as
red and yellow. I agree that at times it doesn't look so red, Might have something to do with the tempt or something?

Vickie, Newberry Festival clumped up fast here too. And it put on a big show with lots of blooms.
