Thanks! And back at ya!

After seeing all these photos, my wish list is growing out of control....

Teresa, I am a HUGE fan of reds - yet the oranges are the ones I spend more money on. Can't tell you why, but they just glow. ~Jan

Thanks for the greetings, Happy Thanksgiving to all! It looks like our weather for the holiday will be great. I am taking the

corn hole set so the kids will have something to do and not be underfoot while the last minute cooking is going on lol.

Leslie,
I think I know what a corn hole set is!! I didn't know until attending the Region 2 Winter Meeting earlier this year. Dan Bachman picked me up at the airport, and on the way to the hotel, I mentioned reading that they were going to be playing "corn hole" during the break. So I asked him what the heck that was!! When he started to explain it.... duh.... I quickly realized it is exactly what we in the South call a "bean toss" or beanbag toss. I'll bet you know what a bean toss game is! Actually the Region 2 folks had a super "Corn hole" game. I took pictures with my CP. If I can ever figure out how to get the pics off my CP ( well, find them first) maybe I can post them here. <LOL>

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it.

The image is Jack Carpenter's 'Waxen Splendor.' I'm a sucker for good substance and green throats! Can't remember which image is used, but maybe one of these

Absolutely beautiful! And Michele, Floyd Cove has the tet version for only $500!!! I thought about it -- for an extremely brief instant! Their comment: "Extremely pollen fertile"...

And they have the dip version for only $35!

Abundantdaylilies has Waxen Splendor (dip) DF for $20 on the regular action (Lily Auction) with one bid and for $30 in the store. So, if someone already has daylilies coming from Mark, it would cost $3 more for shipping. http://www.daylily.com/cgi-bin...

I was going to ask what that flower was also. Rats, it's a dip, and I don't
want to pay the price for the tet version. It's a beauty though.

I have spent wayyyyy too much already this year (business investment you know nodding ) so I will have to pass on buying the tet version. I also splurged and got Kim the expensive dip from Lambertson and a few others here and there so I think my dip buying is done this year. I may buy one from Polston, he has a white UF dip that I want to get for Kim mainly because it is dormant.

To keep this on topic I will have to add this to my top 5 (I posted it somewhere else already)

It starts blooming in early May for me and it is STILL sending up scapes.

Ohhh, that is beautiful

And glad that I am not really into hy ridizing, and it doesn't matter if it is a dip or tet to me. I am going to have to look harder at Waxen Splendor.....
